| I mitt måleri strävar jag efter att inte krångla till saker och ting. Färg och form ska få tala för sig själva. Ljus och skuggor är viktiga. Jag har alltid älskat att titta på bilder, leta efter udda detaljer och studera hur skuggor och ljus faller. ”Måla det du ser, inte det du vet finns där” sa någon klok person. Det försöker jag tänka på när jag målar. **** In my painting I don´t want to complicate things. Colour and form will be allowed to speak for themselves. Light and shadows are important for me. I have always loved to look at pictures, look for odd details and study how the shadows and the light appears. "Paint what you see, not what you know is there," said a wise person. I try to think about that when I paint. |
